His towering presence and deep voice will be missed. I first met George when we were neighbors in 1949 and he was one of my first friends in a new neighborhood. Several years ago Mal and I entertained George on a visit to New York city and we caught up on past years and rewound the clock to George's Navy days at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
George was a presence that will be missed, he was truly the
Academy Lion...Rest in Peace Georgie....
