Condolence: My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to The Trosts during this difficult time. George always reached out to family and friends, kept us posted on all the local news, especially family events. He was an exceptional and kind man, and very proud of his children and grandkids! He will be missed as a cousin. Much love, Sue Trost Yoculan (Boca Raton FL)

Condolence: George worked with all members of our class reunion committee almost since we began having reunions and birthday parties. His computer sense and his humor served us well and his contributions will stay with us forever. He was so proud of his family and especially his four grandsons. All of the Academy Class of 1960 will miss him. Our condolences to his family. We are so sad for you all.

Condolence: Dear Brother, you were supposed to live in to your 90's, as you and I figured that it was time for the men in the family to live very long lives. As we lost our sisters too early as well. I was blessed to have you as a brother, a good big brother, who was there for me a few times when I needed it. The stories of us when we grew up together, wow there were some pretty ripe ones. The time Dad, hung us on the wash line in potato sacks for doing something bad to Mom. Yes, we were the dynamic duo when it came to doing weird things. They even had to separate us a few months because of what we did. Bad boys. But we did do our chores when asked six or seven times and chased by Mom with the strap.
I know how bad you missed Dot, and it was to soon for her passing. But, then four grandsons. I had hoped you would have had more time with them, you where so proud to have them. Boy's with the Trost name, kept telling me I should try to catch up. Another private joke of ours.
I will miss you, like all the emails and jokes we would tell each other.
Now, you are again with Dot, fair well Brother until we meet again.

Condolence: His towering presence and deep voice will be missed. I first met George when we were neighbors in 1949 and he was one of my first friends in a new neighborhood. Several years ago Mal and I entertained George on a visit to New York city and we caught up on past years and rewound the clock to George's Navy days at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

George was a presence that will be missed, he was truly the
Academy Lion...Rest in Peace Georgie....
