Jerome A. Devlin Jr., 89, formerly of Greene Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. He was born in Erie on November 22, 1931 a son of the late Jerome A. Devlin, Sr. and Bernice Weidner Devlin.

Jerome graduated from Academy High School in 1949 and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked for the United States Post Office for 33 years before retirement in 1988 and then managed the St. Boniface Usher's Club for five years. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, the VFW Post #4789, and the American Legion Post #571. He was a life member of the Zukor Club, East Erie Turners, Siebenbuerger Club, the St. Boniface Usher's Club, and the Erie 700 Club.
Jerome played in the Glenwood Baseball League, the City Rec Fast Pitch League where he played for the Fulton Club and the City of Erie, and the Slow Pitch League where he played for Nunzi's and Hoover Sand and Gravel. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Buffalo Bills and enjoyed golfing and reading.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years who passed away on December 3, 2020, Pauline Wonner Devlin, and three sisters, Marguerite Curtis, Betty Kirsch, and Alice Scott, and grandchild Katie.
Survivors include children Sheila Ohmer (Tim), Daniel Horn, Shawn Kesling (Jeff), Pamela Williams (Jim), and Patrick Devlin, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
