Anna Mary Sipes Bedow Corey, 83, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Edinboro Manor. She was born in Chambersburg, PA, on December 19, 1933, the daughter of the late Donald and Theresa Panzes Sipes.

Mary enjoyed bingo, gardening, fishing, playing card, socializing, and country music. She was a past member of the Holy Trinity Club and the Polish National Alliance. Mary had a deep love for her children and grandchildren, always being there from them.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Thomas Corey in 2001, her five brothers, Earl and Emerson Sipes, in infancy, Douglas, James, and Eldon Sipes; and her sister, Eleanor Sipes, in infancy.

Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Trott (Paul), of Summit Township; her five sons, Robert Bedow (Roberta), of Summit Township, Richard Bedow (Karen), of Edinboro, Douglas Bedow (Stacy), of Erie, Stephen Corey (Michael Olsen), of Pittsburgh, and Thomas Corey of Millcreek; one sister, Judith Salinas (Ben) of Houston, TX; her two brothers, Edward Sipes, Myrtle Beach, SC and Wayne Sipes (Connie) of Union City; 15 grandchildren and many great and great-greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a funeral service there the following morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Erie Cemetery.
