William B. Brzozowski, Sr., 75, of Greene Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 30, 2017 at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Erie on January 28, 1942 a son of the late Bernard and Agnes Malinski Brzozowski.
William was a 1960 graduate of Technical Memorial High School and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an assembler with Skinner Engine for 30 years before retirement and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He was a life member of the St. Boniface Ushers Club and enjoyed fishing and hunting. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his loving family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Florence Baranowski Love.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Rzodkiewicz Brzozowski; one daughter, Kathleen Hartman and her husband, Robert, of Beaver, PA; three sons, William Brzozowski, Jr. and his wife, LeAnn, Thomas Brzozowski and his wife, Lisa, and Alan Brzozowski and his wife, Jennifer, all of Erie; one sister, Dorothy Deutsch of Erie; one brother, Edward Brzozowski of Erie; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Megan, Leanne, Eryn, Conner, Emma, Tyler, and Christina; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass there at 10:00 a.m.. Burial with military honors will follow in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
