Obituary for Lisa S. Bayer

Lisa S. “Evil One” Bayer, 61, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie on March 16, 1961, a daughter of the late Edward and Alberta Nicholl Bayer.
Lisa worked for EMTA for 22 years starting out in the lift division, then scheduling, and most recently as a dispatcher up until her retirement.
She loved the outdoors, especially bon-fires, fishing, puzzles, playing board games with the grandkids, loud music, wood burning, and making people smile. Her life motto was "If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours." She really loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Neimeic; a sister-in-law, Chris Bayer; a brother-in-law, Daniel Dundon; and a very special Aunt Irene Bayer.
She is survived by her daughter, Penny Bayer of Erie; her son, Evan Bayer of Corry; two brothers, Dennis Bayer of Fairview, and David Bayer and his wife, Kathy, of Erie; three sisters, Kathy Dundon, Tina Warren and her husband, Robert, and Karen Wisniewski and her husband, Brian, all of Erie; her grandchildren, Logan, Wyatt, Layla, Tanner, Nicholas, Jacob, Benjamin, and Emily; a great-granddaughter, Peyton Lisa Bayer, her namesake; and of course her dog, Bruiser, who was her little mutt dog that she loved more than anything; her special great-niece who helped her tremendously through her illness , Savanna Page of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
