Obituary for Olga Burbridge
Olga Gosztonyi Burbridge, 95, of Erie and formerly of Waterford, passed away peacefully on Monday August 22, 2022 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Bethlehem, PA on September 20, 1926 a daughter of the late Rudolph E. Gosztonyi, Sr. and Olga E. Payer Gosztonyi.
Olga was a member of the Audubon Society and enjoyed birding and gardening. In her later years she was a voracious reader.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ralph Burbridge, M.D.; her brother, Rudolph E. Gosztonyi, Jr, M.D.; and her daughter in law, Helen Burbridge.
Survivors include two sons, Geoffrey R. Burbridge, MD, and his wife, Ann, of Greensboro, GA, and Lindsay Burbridge of Brimfield, OH; three daughters, Karen McConnell and her husband, John, of West Lafayette, IN, Beth Schaaf and her husband, William, of Waterford, and Holly Lendt, of Morgantown, WV; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her former foreign exchange student, Dillip Joshi and his wife, Jyotsna, of San Diego, CA; and several nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
