Obituary for Deron G. Warner

Deron G. Warner “80 Proof”, 50, of Erie, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on August 11, 1971, to the late Eugene T. Brown and the late Roberta J. Warner Gabriel and worked for AAD Trucking as a truck driver.

Deron earned his GED and shortly attended Mercyhurst College to study business. He eventually obtained a CDL license where he spent many years as a truck driver. Deron was an entrepreneur by nature which caused him to seek out several business ventures including an ice cream truck, landscaping, and gold-trimming business.

The 2019 Pandemic pushed Deron into tailoring where he began making face masks (which sold out every time he made them) and eventually screen-printing apparel. Recently, Deron started his own trucking and plowing company, Push 22, LLC- he called himself the best driver this side of the Mississippi!

On August 7, 2021, Deron married the love of his life, Heather Molder. They met at a traffic light. Deron asked Heather to pull over (and she did)! They had an instant connection and had been together for over 22 years.

He was a proud member of the Erie Renegades Motorcycle Club. His biker name was Shot-out. Deron enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing many musical instruments. He was known for his free-style rap, beat-boxing and self-taught guitar skills. Deron was a huge Pittsburg Steelers’ fan and often cheered on those around him who were doing great things in life. He was a proud father of his children and was excited to soon become a Papa.

Deron left a lasting impression on everyone he met and had the nickname of “Unc”. He was affectionately known for his laugh, the phrases “ooweeee” and “uuussss”. He loved his family; friends; and dogs: Shiloh Baby, Lucious and Nugget, and everyone he met. To know Deron was to love him. He was very outspoken, and he wore his heart on his sleeve. He was funny, loveable, and enjoyed his Budweiser.

Deron leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife Heather Molder Warner; (2 sons) Tyler Pullium, Xzavier Warner both of Atlanta, GA; (1 daughter) Karsyn Johnson; (4 brothers) Tommy Tate, Jonathan Warner (Gennifer), Donnell Gamble, and Michael Warner (Shannon); (3 sisters) Shawna Tate, Carla Warner, and Danielle Boone (Anthony) of Detroit, MI; (1 grandmother) Mary Alice Brown Martin; a host of nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; Erie Renegades’ family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene T. Brown, and Roberta J. Warner Gabriel, (1 grandmother) Alyce Warner; and (2 grandfathers) George Warner, and Eugene Brown, Sr.

A memorial will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the South Erie Turners, 2663 Peach St., Erie, PA 16508 at 6 P.M.
