A Goalie has made his last “save”. Robert F. “Bob the Goalie” Weisman, 66, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 in Chardon, Ohio. He was born in Erie on February 21, 1956, a son of the late Robert W. and Betty Jean Harmon Weisman. He married Kathleen Brown Weisman on July 16, 1983.
Robert graduated from Strong Vincent in 1974. He worked at the Erie Infant’s Home and was the first male CCT. He also worked at the Barber Center. Robert was active with the Erie Hotline for ten years. He was a member of the Luther Memorial Church. He had a love of his and Kathleen’s birds and guinea pigs, including his “son, Milton.”
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Delores Anderson of East Millcreek; his brother, Mark Weisman of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Weisman.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date. A memorial service will be planned at Luther Memorial Church.
