Obituary for Debra K. Bisbee (Haibach)
Debra K. Haibach Bisbee, age 63, of Ripley, NY, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Erie, on March 17, 1959, a daughter of late Donald J. Haibach and Dorothy Lazar Wilbur.
Debra graduated from Seneca High School in 1978 and went on to work as a custodian for the Wattsburg School District. She had also worked in the retail business, home health care, and she really enjoyed working for Crosby's in Westfield, NY. In Debra’s retirement years, she was looking forward to traveling to Florida for the winter months. She was a member of Erie First Assembly, where she was very active in the church activities. Debra loved her family and friends and enjoyed going out to dinner with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles “Chas” Wilbur and her sister-in-law, Kim Haibach.
Survivors include her sister, Darlene Vogel and her husband John of Findley Lake, NY; her brothers, Donald Haibach, of Youngsville, PA, Louis Haibach of Wattsburg, and Richard Haibach and is wife Sallie of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Erie First Assembly on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of a memorial service there at 5 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Phillipsville Union Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd.
