Sarah A. Wiler Herman, 92, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Grand Valley. She was born on January 27, 1930, a daughter of the late Amos and Susan Lindenberger Wiler. She married Melvin J. Herman on December 13, 1949. He preceded her in death on October 8, 1994.
Sarah worked as a supervisor at Erie Ceramic Arts for 32 years. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Richard J. and Lavern G. Wiler.
Sarah is survived by three daughters, Kathy List (Buzz) and Deborah Albright both of Grand Valley, and Barbara Schock of Waterford; two sons, David Herman (Betty) of Florida and Jerry Herman (Sherri) of Wattsburg; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
