Obituary for Patricia "Patty" Schwartz (Reba)
Patricia "Patty" Reba Schwartz, 70, of Erie, passed away on Friday June 10, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born in Erie on December 13, 1951 a daughter of the late Stanley Reba and Mary Heim Reba.
Patty graduated from Academy High School and worked for HomePlace and Bed Bath & Beyond as a sales associate. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and sitting on her deck reading and listening to music. She also enjoyed wintering in Cape Coral, FL with her group of Florida friends and spending time with her dear friend, Mary Ann Matlock.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Judith Lastowski and Sandra Skellie.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Frank R. Schwartz, Jr.; her son Christopher Schwartz (Sirama Smith) of St. Petersburg, FL; one brother, Greg Reba (Kathy) of Cranberry Twp., PA; two sisters in law, Carol Irwin (Tom) of Ocala, FL and Diana Thies (Sam Rizzo) of North East; two brothers in law, Frank Lastowski of North Carolina and Jim Skellie (Laurie) of Titusville; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to services there on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
