Obituary for Tyler D. States
Tyler D. States, 25, of Wattsburg, passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Wednesday June 1, 2022. He was born in Erie on October 29, 1996 a son of Dale Jeffrey States and Lesha Yost States.
Tyler graduated from Seneca High School and worked as an engineer with GRI Energy. He was a member of the NW Pulling Society and proudly pulled his purple truck and supported his buddies on and off the track. Tyler also loved riding his side by side with friends, scenic traveling-especially Tennessee and Montana, and just about every dog he seen. Most memories of Tyler include impromptu singing of random songs and a contagious laugh that was larger than life. His energy and smile could light up even the darkest night skies.
In addition to his parents survivors include his girlfriend, Kasie Cunningham, of North East; his brother, Jason States (Heather); his sister, Jessica Thompson (Mark); special niece, and Mini-Me, Londyn Thompson along with niece, Alexis States and nephew, Bentley States, among others.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
