Carol A. Rupp Vogt, 84, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 2, 2022 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on January 24, 1938 a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Klemm Rupp.
Carol graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 1956 and worked as a secretary to a judge in Savannah, Georgia. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Frank L. Vogt, and her brother, Robert Rupp.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy (aka Kate) Vogt-Robie of Cary, NC, Audrey Coletta and her husband, Vincent, of North East, and Pam Duffin and her husband, Greg, of Erie; seven grandchildren, Phillip Coletta (Alicia), Michael Coletta (Dawn), Breanna Noon (Jim), Vanessa Coletta and Vincent Coletta (Michaela), Andrew Robie, and Brodie Duffin (Amanda); and nine great grandchildren, Dominic, Giovanni, Gianna, Sophia, Michael, Sienna, Anthony, Enzo, and Harper.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a prayer service there on Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. George Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
