Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" Little (Ganzer)
Elizabeth "Betty" Ganzer Little, 87, of Erie, passed away on Saturday May 21, 2022 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on May 29, 1934 a daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth Ganzer.
Betty graduated from Strong Vincent High School and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joseph A. Little; one sister, Shirley Izbicki; and one brother, Richard Ganzer.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph J. Little (Grace), Jerry Little (Janet Greene), Richard Little (Debbie), and Michael Little (Kecia), all of Erie; one daughter, Cheryl Gruver (Fred), of Waterford; 13 grandchildren, Joseph (Rita), Joi (Mike), Jamie, Jeremy (Ann), Nicholas (Brittany), Katie-Jo (Robert), Kayla (Alex), Kyle, Ryan (Katelin), Matthew (Angela), Ashley (Jim), Nichole (Joel), and Olivia; many great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Ganzer, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. George Catholic Church on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. George Catholic Church, 5145 Peach St., Erie, 16509.
