Obituary for Bonnie Moss (Hayes)
Bonnie Hayes Moss, 63, of North East, passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at St. Vincent Health Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Erie on June 8, 1958 a daughter of Arlene Erhart Rodgers and the late Raymond Hayes, Sr.
Bonnie, a lifelong fan of Penn State football, worked as a mental health therapist at Stairways Behavioral Health. She enjoyed singing in choirs, music, and drumming. Most important to her was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Rodgers; two brothers, Raymond "Ray Rock" Hayes, Jr. and Howard "Sonny" Hayes; and her stepson, Howard Jenkins.
In addition to her mother survivors include her husband of 12 years, Harold "Ed" Moss; two daughters, Jennifer Jenkins and Sarah Rauch and her husband, Matt, all of Erie; one stepdaughter, Kathy Jenkins, of Kansas City, MO; two stepsons, Heath Moss and his wife, Rebecca, of Erie and Mark Moss of Owensboro, KY; her five grandchildren who lovingly called her "MeMe", Matthew, Layla, Charlie, Sam, and Sadie; one sister, Lisa DiLuzio and her husband, James, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews, including her Goddaughter, Erica DiLuzio.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to services there on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
