Obituary for Janice K. Montie
Janice K. Montie, 77, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on July 29, 1944 a daughter of the late Kenneth H. and Kathryn "Kay" Kundla Montie.
Janice graduated from Academy High School and the St. Vincent School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent and enjoyed crafts, tropical fish, and her three dogs.
Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth D. Montie and Richard D. Montie and his wife, Patricia, all of Erie; her nieces and nephews, Adam Montie and his wife Marci, Jessi Montie, Kerry Montie, and Kevin Montie and his wife, Denise; and many great nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a memorial service at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
