Obituary for Marjorie E. Leo (Anderson)
Marjorie E. Anderson Leo, 94, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on December 29, 1927 a daughter of the late Marie and Lawrence Anderson.
Marjorie was a practical nurse. She worked at St. Mary's Home of Erie and also worked in private duty nursing. She was a member of the St. Mary' s Home Auxiliary, the Cursillo Movement, and the St. Luke Fantastics Pinochle Club. She enjoyed playing pinochle at the Mercy Center on Aging, dancing, and playing scrabble. She loved little children and enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren very much.
She was preceded in death by her baby sister, Barbara, and two brothers, Raymond and Edward Anderson.
Survivors include her son, Arthur Leo and his wife, Karen; one daughter, Margaret Leo; four grandchildren, Darcie, Kevin, and Wendy Adamski, and Stephanie Lavelle; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Anderson and John Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass there at 9:45 a.m. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1553 E. Grandview Blvd., Erie, 16510.
