Obituary for Hazel McCausland (Lamison)
Hazel "Sis" Lamison McCausland, 94, of Erie, passed away on Monday January 3, 2022 at LECOM Senior Living Center. She was born in Kittanning, PA on February 15, 1927 a daughter of the late William and Florence Tarr Lamison.
Hazel enjoyed arts and crafts, jewelry making, embroidery, and yodeling. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John D. McCausland; her son, John McCausland; two brothers, William and Lamison; and one sister, Janice Milliron.
Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Grande and her husband, Joseph, of Landsdale, PA; one son, Russell McCausland and his wife, Gayle, of Erie; four grandchildren, Mark Grande (Jacky), Douglas Grande (Stephanie), Scott McCausland (Jeni), and Shaun McCausland (Deann); eight great grandchildren, Douglas Grande Jr., Madeline Grande, Jack Grande, Malinda Grande, Kailyn Fedak, Shaun McCausland Jr., Kye McCausland, and Brennan Petroff; one brother, Roger Lamison, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services there at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
