Obituary for Helen Janosco (Cupak)
Helen Cupak Janosco, 91, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Monday December 20, 2021 at Sarah Reed Retirement Center. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 14, 1930 a daughter of the late Albert and Anna Snopko Cupak.
Helen graduated from Edinboro High School in 1948. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed dancing and raising flowers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Janosco, Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Janosco and David Janosco and his wife, Karen, all of Erie; one daughter, Carol Janosco, of Kannapolis, NC; one grandson, Kevin Janosco; one sister, Maryann Cano and her husband, Sal, of Rio Rancho, NM; and one nephew, Johnny Papa, of St. Petersburg, FL.
Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be private in St. James Cemetery in Crossingville, PA.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
