Obituary for Christine A. Morehouse (Hess)
Christine A. Hess Morehouse, 66, of Greene Township, passed away on Wednesday December 15, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Erie on January 31, 1955 a daughter of the late George and Joann Dietz Hess.
Chris graduated from Wattsburg High School in 1972 and worked as a clerk typist for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Morehouse, Jr.; two sons, Gregory Morehouse and his wife, Jamie, of Erie and Troy Morehouse and his wife, Mallory, of Bangor, ME; five grandchildren, Brooke, Willie, Stefon, Brooklyn, and Ariella; two sisters, Rosemary Wenzel and Patricia Chapman and her husband, Dennis, all of Erie; two brothers, Wesley Hess of Pleasantville, PA and John Hess of Memphis, TN; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Services will be private for family and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Those attending the visitation will be asked to wear masks.
