Laura Jean Rolland Pusateri-Bova, 75 of Greene Township, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 19, 1945, a daughter of the late Arthur and Laura Jane Rolland.

Jean graduated from Perry High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a remarkably strong person. She has spent her life caring for their special needs daughter and at the time each of her husbands fell sick she spent her days caring for them in addition. Jean was hard to the core, yet sensitive and the most loyal, caring, brilliant and determined woman and mother. In addition to raising her family throughout her years in her “free” time she has been a beautician, top selling real estate agent, CNA and ran a family horse boarding business.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Army Veteran and Father of her children, Frank Pusateri, Sr., and by her 2nd loving husband, Samuel Bova.

Survivors include her children, Frank S. Pusateri Jr. (Lia), Gina Marie Pusateri, Salvatore “Sam” Pusateri (Lisa), Joseph Pusateri (Erin), Samuel Stanford (Darla) and Jimmy Stanford (Roxanne); her Grandchildren, Frankie III, Daniela, Maria, Joseph, Levi, Macy, Tory, Chance, Madison, Anthony, Sammy, Brittany, Jimmy, Greg; her Great Grandchildren, Laci, Peyton, Leila; and her brother Arthur Rolland.

Friends may call at the RUSSELL C. SCHMIDT & SON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504, on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of funeral service there at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
