Obituary for Michele M. White (Mellin)
Michele M. Mellin White, 66, of Meadville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at UPMC Hamot following a lengthy illness. She was born in Erie on February 17, 1955 a daughter of the late Henry and Regina Karpik Mellin.
Michele worked at Smoker Friendly in Meadville and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an animal lover, especially her horses, cats, and dogs. She enjoyed going to bingo with her mom and bowling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert J. and Joseph A. Mellin.
Survivors include her companion of 36 years, Tim Bennett, of Meadville; three sons, John Mellin (Vanessa) of Meadville, and Christopher and Gregory White, both of Florida; two grandchildren, Montana and Brian Lee White; four brothers, Jeffrey Mellin, of Waterford, Mark Mellin (Alisa) of Waterford, Richard Mellin (Cheryl) of Edinboro, and Michael Mellin of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the RUSSELL C. SCHMIDT & SON FUNERAL HOME INC., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
