Obituary for Robert G. Henry
Robert G. Henry, 72, of Union City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 27, 2021 at Millcreek Community Hospital. He was born in Erie on April 14, 1949 a son of the late Calvin M. and Elizabeth Herrmann Henry.
Robert graduated from Wattsburg High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Animal Industry from Penn State University. He owned Ro-Ka-H Dairy Farm for many years and went on to work as a herd nutritionist prior to retirement. He enjoyed chopping firewood and traveling.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Henry.
Survivors include three sons, Steve Henry and his wife, Sandy, of Virginia, Patrick Henry of Wisconsin, and Kevin Henry and his fiance, Valerie, of Union City; one stepdaughter, Vanessa Suarez, of Erie; one stepson, Christian Fernandez, of Edinboro; six grandchildren, Gavin, Tallin, Macy, Garrett, Sara, and Lucas; one sister, Sherry Lynn Runser and her husband, Howard, of Texas; one brother, Brian Henry and his wife, Georgina, of North East; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
