Obituary for Henrietta Lawson
Henrietta Mankowski Lawson (Henryka Mankowski), 83, formerly of East Lake Road, went to be with the Lord after years of a weak heart on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Warsaw, Targoastrasse (Poland) on April 17, 1938 a daughter of the late Jan Mankowski and Emilia Wallesch Mankowski.
Henrietta attended First Assembly of God where she sang in the choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on February 27, 2013 by her husband of 47 years, David Leroy Lawson, whom she married on July 10, 1965 at the First Baptist Church of Erie.
Survivors include two sons, David S. Lawson and Kevin T. Lawson and their loving families; two sisters, Ruth Mankowski Kulish and Alfreda Mankowski Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial were private for the family.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
