Obituary for Mark A. Legenzoff

Mark A. Legenzoff, 61, of Erie, passed away following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday May, 26, 2021. He was born in Erie on May 30, 1959 a son of Loretta Trojan Legenzoff and the late Kenneth J. Legenzoff.

Mark was a 1977 graduate of McDowell High School and graduated from Penn State University in 1981. He originally worked at Elgin Electronics for 13 years and most recently worked at GE for 27 years as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the South Erie Turners and was an avid sports fan, especially the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Pirates. He enjoyed all genres of music.

In addition to his mother survivors include his wife of nearly 40 years, Patricia Kalie Legenzoff; one daughter, Tamara Legenzoff of North East; one brother, Thomas Legenzoff and his wife, Karen, of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Lynn Legenzoff of Phoenix, AZ and Karen Badders and her husband, David, of Girard, PA; his dog, Rosco, who never left Mark's side; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
