Obituary for Dorothy A. Deutsch (Brzozowski)
Dorothy A. Deutsch, 84, of Erie, passed away Thursday April 1, 2021 at Brevillier Village. She was born in Erie, on December 11, 1936, a daughter of the late Bernard and Agnes Malinski Brzozowski.
Dorothy graduated from St. Benedict Academy in 1954. She was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Church and a member of the St. Boniface Usher’s Club. Dorothy enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was always the life of the party.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Deutsch; her sister, Florence Love; and her brother, William Brzozowski, Sr.
Survivors include her two daughters, Denise Kania and her husband Andy, and Patricia Jones and her husband Jimmy; her two sons, Joseph Deutsch and his wife Kathy, and Gary Deutsch (Sandy Griffith), all of Erie; her six grandchildren, Carly Biebel (fiancé, Aaron Pold), Steve Kania and his wife Tawny, Eric Jones, Michele Homan and her husband Mike, Danny Jones (fiancée, Ashley Gunter), and Michael Joseph Deutsch; her two great-grandsons, Trever Jones and Hudson Homan; her brother, Edward Brzozowski; her sister-in-law, Dianne Brzozowski; her former daughter in law, Darla Vogt, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy’s family would like to specially thank the staff at the Brevillier Village, Ball Pavilion for their excellent care.
