Obituary for Arthur G. Hicks Jr.
Arthur G. Hicks, Jr., 69, of Erie, passed away Tuesday March 2, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie on July 29, 1951 a son of the late Arthur Hicks, Sr. and Edna Troutman Hicks.
Arthur served in the United States Army and worked at Moser Vending. He went on to work at Erie Tinning and Galvanizing for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, looking at the bay, and animals, especially cats.
Survivors include his three step-children, Mickey Williams and her husband, Stan, of Erie, Norman "Keith" DeMoss, Jr. of Erie and Clinton DeMoss and his wife, Nikki, of Cambridge Springs; one brother, Robert Hicks and his wife, Cheryl, of Erie; many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his two cats, Nameless and Grey.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Anna Shelter, 1555 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16511.
