Obituary for Emma June Chase (Myers)
E. June Myers Chase, 98, a resident of Manchester Commons, passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2021. She was born in Waterford on June 16, 1922 a daughter of the late John and Lucy Loop Myers.
Her family was her greatest joy and she loved quilt making and gardening.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Oliver B. Chase; four sisters, Flora Yaple, Hazel Machina Marsh, Ina Reid, and Elva Kienholz; two brothers, Deloss and Morse Myers; her son in law, Lawrence Theuret; and her daughter in law, Sandra Chase.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Theuret of Erie; one son, David Chase and his wife, Connie, of Newcomerstown, OH; seven grandchildren, Mark Theuret (Sharon), Dr. Lisa Schening (Stan Gleason), Michelle Brown (Eric), Melanie Lee (Adam), Vicki Leopold (Nate), Brian Chase (Beckie), and Jennifer Lehman (Jeff Watson); and many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic funeral services and burial will be private for the family.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
