Obituary for Holly E. Stephan (Miller)
Holly E. Miller Stephan, 60, of Erie, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Erie, on December 24, 1958, the daughter of the late Edward T. and Janet E. Pfadt Miller.
Holly was a 1976 graduate of St. Benedict Academy and graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Vincent School of Nursing in 1978. She worked as a nurse for Orthopedic Surgeons, INC, for 28 years, retiring in 2015. Holly’s greatest passion in life was being a mother to her four children. She was known as the "neighborhood and family nurse", always caring for others. Holly loved to cook and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Stephan; her sister, Emily Jane Miller; and her brother, Timothy E. Miller.
Survivors include her daughter, Lauren Stephan and her fiancé, Charles Yu; her three sons, Kyle Stephan, of Pittsburgh, Blake and Connor Stephan, both of Erie; her sisters, Lisa Kaveney and her husband Tom, and Chris Hoover and her husband Jim, both of Erie; her significant other, Kerry Brennan, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. George Catholic Church the following afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
