Cecelia B. "Mickie"  Rinn (Babul)
Cecelia Rinn, 91, of Erie, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her residence on Monday September 10, 2018. She was born in Erie on May 16, 1927 a daughter of the late Anthony and Frances Kopec Bruce Babul.

She attended St. Hedwig grade school and was a 1945 graduate of Tech High School. Mickie worked at General Electric Co. before retiring in 1988. She was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and enjoyed bingo, scratch-off tickets, and trips to the casino.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death on February 22, 1990 by her husband, Harold Rinn, whom she married on October 23, 1948; four brothers, Joseph, John, and Edward Bruce, and Richard Babul; and three sisters, Mary Bruce Jendreck, Frances Bruce Forman, and Virginia Babul Sorge.

Survivors include four sons, Harold (Mary), Michael (Pam), Kevin (Chris), and Patrick Rinn; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven, David, Daniel, Marguerite, Kaitlyn, Molly, Thomas, and Nicholas Rinn; four great grandchildren, Mason, Michael, and Lauren Rinn, and Bennett Haines; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to a prayer service there on Saturday morning at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
