W.F. Browning, Jr., 81, of Erie, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home. He was born in East Palatka, Fla, on March 29, 1937 the son of the late Wilbur F. Browning, Sr. and Beatrice Brenizer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Paulk, of Mayo, Florida.

Buck worked for Allegheny Airlines and Erie Forge and Steel. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on Dick Litz’s stock car, and having a couple beers with friends at Chipper’s Tavern.

Survivors include his son, Ron Browning and his wife Jeanette of Erie, his granddaughter, Kendra Kope; his adopted daughter, Debbie Krugger and her husband Steve; and his nephews, Greg Ellis, of Charlotte, S.C., Tim Ellis, of Tampa, Fla., Larry Ellis, of Mayo, Fla., and Allan Ellis, of Mayo, Fla.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family in Mayo, Fla.
