LeRoy W.  Stanbro Jr.
LeRoy W. Stanbro, Jr., 86, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. He was born in Erie on November 8, 1931 a son of the late LeRoy W. Stanbro, Sr. and Zella Lee Stanbro.

LeRoy served in the United States Navy and Army Reserves and the United States Army. He worked as a machinist at Zurn Industries for many years. He was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church and many veteran groups and social clubs. He was an avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Gary Stanbro; two brothers, Larry and David Stanbro; and one sister, Virginia Adamus.

Survivors include his wife, Constance Huber Stanbro; one son, Paul Stanbro of Erie; one daughter Cathi Pacley and her husband, Edlee, of Erie; two stepsons, Craig Reynolds of Erie and Curt Reynolds and his wife, Tammie, of Manchester, MD; one brother, Dennis Stanbro and his wife, Charlotte, of Erie; two sisters, Lucille Roehm of Erie and Linda Caroline Brown and her husband Ronald of North Carolina; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be private, in Wattsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater PA Chapter, 110 W. 10th St., Erie, 16501.
