Richard S.  Flaugh
Richard "Dick" Stanley Flaugh, 78, of Millcreek, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his soul mate and wife, Frannie, on Saturday June 23, 2018 at St. Mary's Home East. He was born in Meadville on August 10, 1939 the son of the late Florence Hamilton Flaugh and Stanley Charles Flaugh.

Dick grew up in Lawrence Park, graduated from Penn State University (1962) and Gannon University (1975). He worked for Corning Glass Works in Corning, NY for three years and American Sterilizer for 33 years, both in the computer field. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church since 1967.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, and best friend, Frannie.

Survivors include their son, Daniel and his fiancé, Monic Collins and her daughter, Heidi; daughter, Susan; two grandchildren, Jacob Daniel and Elizabeth Frances; their "adopted son" Patrick Olson of Erie; two sisters, Judy Capuano and her husband, Don, of Schenectady, NY and Cindy Carr of Lake City; a former daughter in law, Kathi Groh of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
