Nikki Knox Ensbrenner, 68, of Erie, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday May 15, 2018. She was born in Evansville, IL on August 5, 1949 a daughter of the late Raymond and Edna Mae Stokes Knox.

Nikki worked for Spiral Stairs of America and went on to work at Hamot Medical Center. Family was the most important thing in her life and she was known as a mother to all.

Survivors include her husband, David P. Ensbrenner; one son, Rob and his wife, Sarah, of New York; one daughter, Taylor of Erie; two grandchildren, Bethany and Gavin; two great grandchildren, Bryson and Brynlee; one sister, Sarah "Sally"Warrender and her husband, Tom, of Greenville, PA; one brother, Matt "Buddy" Knox and his wife, Amelia, of Huntsville, AL; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Erie Zoo, 423 W. 38th St., Erie, 16508; or the Humane Society of Northwest PA, 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, 16506.
