Helen J. Curlowicz Tanner, 100, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born in Linesville, PA on March 29, 1917 a daughter of the late Peter and Viola Thomaszewski Curlowicz.

Helen was dedicated to her entire family and loved spending time together.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Tanner; four sisters, Pearl Slowikowski, Julia Wysocki, Stell Podbielski, and Sally Jendrack; and six brothers, Leo, Stanley, Peter, Frank, George, and Joseph Curlowicz.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Mann of Erie; two sons, Ronald and Dennis Tanner, both of Erie; three grandchildren, Kristen Mann, Jessica Mann, and Nicolas Mann (Haley); four great grandchildren, Jamyra, Marianna, Harper, and Everly; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial were private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
