Kevin R.  Imler
Kevin R. Imler, 30, a resident of Wattsburg Road in Millcreek Township, died on Thursday evening August 21, 2008 following an auto and motorcycle accident on West 12th Street in Erie. A resident of Erie all of his life, he was born in Erie on October 10, 1977 a son of Richard and Linda Hay Imler of Millcreek and was a 1996 graduate of Cathedral Prep. For the past two years, he had worked as a landscaper at the Springhill Senior Living Communnity and previously had worked for 14 years with Brooks Landscaping. Kevin was a member of the St. Joseph Bread of Life Community and was for many years a member of Mt. Calvary Catholic Church and a graduate of Mt. Calvary Grade School. He was a member of the Sunflower Club and enjoyed the outdoors by riding his motorcyle, camping, and kayaking.

In addition to his parents, survivors include 4 brothers, Dick Imler and his wife Melissa of Fairview, Jay Imler and his wife Helen, Brian and Matthew Imler, all of Erie; a sister, Cheryl Lemanski and her husband Gary of Severn, Md.; his beloved fiancee, Melissa Allen of Erie; his paternal grandmother, Jean Emery Imler Simmons and her husband Ronald of Erie; five nieces, Carly Imler, his God daughter Ashley Lemanski, Emily Lemanski, Meghan and Mary Imler; a nephew, James Imler; and his God son Anthony Barry. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Robert Imler and his maternal grandparents, James and Mary Murawski Hay.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, corner of East Gore Rd. and Pine Ave., Sunday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to prayer services there on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mt. Calvary Catholic Church, 2004 E. Lake Rd. at 10:00 a.m. celebrated by the Pastor Fr. Philip Oriole and Msgr. Dan McGraw and Fr. Larry Richards. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Presque Isle Partnership, P.O. Box 8510, Erie, PA 16505.
