Josephine M. Reisinger Gildersleeve, 52, of Erie, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Oil City, PA on December 27, 1965, the daughter of the Robert and Mary Ann Goodwill Reisinger.
Josie graduated from Central Tech in 1987. She was a member of Crossroads Community Baptist Church. Josie enjoyed collecting cook books, beanie babies, and Christmas bears. She had a very playful spirit and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Josie was very involved in various charities.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two aunts, Mildred Long and Dorothy Reisinger.
Survivors include her husband, Duncan M. Gildersleeve; and her two sons, Dillon Gildersleeve and Joseph E. Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Mid City Towers at 1:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc.
