Michael A. Dorman, 33, of Greene Twp., passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday June 24, 2018 at Family Hospice and Palliative Care in Pittsburgh. He was born in Erie on August 19, 1984 a son of Donald and Jennine Swab Dorman.

Michael graduated from Ft. Leboeuf High School and worked as a kitchen manager at the Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse. He enjoyed camping.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Joyce Swab and his paternal grandparents, Lyle and Bonnie Dorman.

In addition to his parents survivors include his fiancé, Barbie Harman of Greene Twp.; two brothers, John Dorman and his girlfriend, Jackie, of Erie and Don Dorman, Jr. and his fiancé, Stefanie, of Waterford; one nephew, Martin Anthony Dorman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services there at 7 p.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse, 444 E. Grandview Blvd., Erie, 16504.
