Jaclyn Kendrath, 40, of Millcreek, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday June 20, 2018. She was born in Erie on July 12, 1977 a daughter of Daniel Kendrath and Debra Mello Kendrath Miaczynski.
Jackie worked at St. Mary's Home and went on to work as a medical assistant with Huffman Family Chiropractic . She enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Howard Kendrath; her maternal grandparents, Frank and Jackie Mello; one uncle, Mike Mello; one aunt, Robin Pianka; and one cousin, Greg Pianka.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one daughter, Adriana Sornberger at home; one son, Brayson Sheldon at home; two sisters, Emily Kendrath and Laura Ballman, all of Erie; one brother, Frank Mello and his wife, Molly, of Erie; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Kendrath of Erie; her stepfather, Jim Miaczynski of Erie; her significant other, Michael Black of Erie; three aunts, Kathi Peters, Beth Locke, and her special aunt, Tia Barbarini and her husband, Robert, all of Erie; two uncles, Steve Kendrath of Deland, Florida and Ken Kendrath and his wife, Faye, of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of services there at 8:00 p.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
