Evelyn E. Ennis Sheehan, 85, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Fairview Manor. She was born in Erie on April 10, 1932 a daughter of the late Charles T. and Kathryn E. Humphrey Ennis.

Evelyn graduated from Strong Vincent High School and worked as a lab assistant at Continental Rubber Works before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Sheehan and two sisters, Nancy Stokes and Kathryn Zillman.

Survivors include three sons, Daniel Sheehan and his wife, Diane, of Katy, TX, Terrance Sheehan of Erie, and Craig Sheehan and his wife, Heidi, of Erie; two daughters, Kathleen DeDad and her husband, David, and Cynthia Dorsey, all of Erie; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be private, in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
