Condolence: Dear Judy and precious family of Bob.
It is with a sad and heavy heart that I offer my prayers and deepest sympathy to you all on Bob's passing.
I only knew Bob from Cardio Rehab, but his sense of humor, kindness, and even his health issues will be treasured in my heart. I will miss him dearly.

Condolence: Bob was one of the finest people I met in Erie in my professional role as CEO of the Economic Development Corp. Without Bob, there would be no Knowledge Park at Penn State Erie. Without Bob, we would not have been inspired to strive for greatness while many around us suffered through mediocrity.

In addition to his incisive observations, he was a tremendous guy, humble yet powerful.

As his family and friends gather in Erie and reminisce, I shall remember his administrative effectiveness, his chuckle, his wry smile. Quality guys like Bob are rare indeed.

Condolence: Bob was a wonderful person. He stood by me when things got tough at PSU. He gave so much to PSU and deserved more recognition than he received over the years. It breaks my heart to know he passed so young. He gave so much to so many. My prayers are with the family.

Condolence: Lumpy (Bob) has been a cherished part of my life since the fall of 1972. We went to classes and played football together at the U of D. Our families vacationed together at the DE, MD and NC beaches. We have recently spent wonderful long weekends together in Holden Beach, NC with close friends. Lumpy has always held a special place in my heart since we first met. I am confident that that place will never be filled by another. I love you my brother. May you rest in peace.
