Jacob L. Honecker, 37, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday February 3, 2018. He was born in Erie on December 28, 1980 a son of Judy Hall Sprickman and John Honecker.

Jacob worked at Lord Corporation and Lincoln Foundry and most recently worked at Superior Bronze as a molder. He was an arm wrestler with Relentless Arm Wrestling and was a member of the National Club, Sacred Heart Ushers Club, and the Rook. He volunteered with numerous charitable organizations and was always willing to help anyone in need.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Danielle D'Onofrio Honecker; his son, Dylan Honecker, at home; his daughter, Breeona Gunter, at home; six brothers, James Honecker of Erie, Daniel Honecker of Pittsburgh, Joseph Fletcher and his wife, Lauren, of Erie, Mark Sprickman and his wife, Jill, of Edinboro, Michael Sprickman and his wife, Katie, of Erie, and Robert Sprickman and his wife, Laurie, of Erie; two sisters, Theresa Fletcher of Erie and Jennifer Campbell of Harborcreek; his special partner, Ashly Miller and her son, Nolan; his second mother, Suzanne Fletcher; his second father, Russell Sprickman; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and "brothers".

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
