Alexander F.  DeRosa
Alexander F. DeRosa, 85, of Waterford, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Sunday December 3, 2017. He was born in Gallatin, PA on August 2, 1932 a son of the late Dominick "Thomas" and Jessie Cantoni DeRosa.

Alexander graduated from Monongahela High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He was a welder with Litton Industries for five years and American Sterilizer for 21 years. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Stardust Dance Group, and the Siebenbuerger Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank DeRosa.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce C. Truffa DeRosa; his children, Brenda Yaple (Jack) of Waterford, Thomas DeRosa (Rob) of New Jersey, Christy Norcutt of New Jersey; and Frank DeRosa of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Germaine Sickels of Monongahela, PA and Catherine Ciccarelli of Belle Vernon, PA; one brother, Thomas DeRosa (Carol) of Monongahela, PA; five grandchildren, Tamara, Kim (Jamie), John (Stephanie), Natalie, and Tristan; two step-grandchildren, Jeff and Brian (Rachel); four great grandchildren, Austin, Alexandria, Izabella, and Emelia; three step great grandchildren, Jackson, Avery, and Kennedy; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. Boniface Catholic Church on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 9367 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16509.
