Michael D.  MacGurn
Michael D. MacGurn, 54, of Erie, passed away accidentally on Sunday November 5, 2017. He was born in Erie on December 4, 1962 a son of Robert MacGurn, Sr. and the late Janet Holmstrom MacGurn.

Michael graduated from Tech Memorial High School in 1981 and worked as a finish carpenter with Builders Door and Trim.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, David MacGurn in infancy.

In addition to his father, survivors include five siblings, Ann Sanford and her husband, Randy, Robert MacGurn, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, Mary Hoffman, Susan Jaskiewicz and her husband, Gerard, and John MacGurn, all of Erie; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services there at 7:00 p.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, 16505 or the American Red Cross, 4961 Pittsburgh Ave., Erie, 16509.
