Obituary for Vincent J. Lascek

Vincent J.  Lascek
Vincent J. Lascek, 23, of Millcreek, passed away due to complications from a brain tumor on Monday July 31, 2017. He was born in Erie on August 24, 1993 a son of Ted and Michelle Gardner Lascek.

Vince graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School and McDowell High School. He worked at various restaurants and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. He was creative, artistic, and enjoyed music of all genres. He also enjoyed playing guitar, drums, and bass.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joyce Golden, and his maternal grandfather, Vincent J. Gardner.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister, Jillian Lascek, at home; his paternal grandfather, Rudy Lascek and his wife, Kay, of Fairview; his maternal grandmother, Lottie Gardner, of Millcreek; two aunts, Deborah Bauer and her husband, Arthur, of Harborcreek and Terry Carlos and her husband, Charles, of Texas; three uncles, Mark Gardner and his wife, Jacqueline, of New Jersey, Tom Lascek and his wife, Pam, of Florida, and Tim Lascek and his wife, Linda, of North Carolina; and many cousins and dear friends.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
