Larry  R.  Ritson
Larry R. Ritson, age 59, of Erie, died on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was born in Butler, PA on June 8, 1958 to the late William and Kate McGinley Ritson.

Larry attended Butler High School and was a member of the U.S. Navy and the National Guard. As a disabled veteran after his service, he worked for many shipyards and was later employed through the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the South Erie Turners and the American Legion. Larry was the founder and president of the former motorcycle club, Lucky 13. He loved motorcycles, hunting, traveling, and repairing vehicles. Most of all he loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Beverly. Their first date was on July 13, 1991. He is survived by his children, Stacy Peffer (Sean), Jack Ritson (Samantha), Mark Ritson (Angela), Corey Kerner, and Jake Kerner (Kelly); his 13 grandchildren who adored him; his brothers, Charles “Skip” Ritson, and Bill Ritson (Linda); his sister-in-law, Ginger Beveridge (Bill); his brother-in-law, Chip Fried; several nieces and nephews; and his pets, Willow, Roxy, Herman, and Missy Moe.

He will be missed dearly.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of funeral service there at 5 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of family.
