Obituary for Robert L. George
Robert L. George, 63, of Erie, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Painesville, OH on March 21, 1954 a son of the late Leo George and Eleanor Bartells George Stewart.
Robert worked at Griffin Motors in Meadville. He enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family and his dog, Lexi.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Stella Juilfs; one daughter, Vanessa George of Cochranton; one son, Matthew George of Cochranton; one stepdaughter, Rebecca Juilfs-Mayo (Joseph) of Erie; three stepsons, Jeremy Ransom (Becky) of Conneautville, Daniel Juilfs, Jr. (Jenna) of Roanoke, VA, and Edward Juilfs of Erie; five grandchildren, Joseph, Katharine, Hailey, Peyton, and Delilah; and his stepfather, James Stewart of Meadville.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
