Obituary for Timothy A. Dixon
Timothy A. Dixon, 43, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 13, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Erie on November 24, 1973 a son of the late Arthur C. Dixon, Sr. and Shirley Koniecki Dixon Moyak.
Tim was a former employee of the Erie Times News and enjoyed fishing, cars, and especially spending time with his family and stepchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Tammy Dixon Engle and two brothers, Bryon Dixon and Arthur A.C. Dixon, Jr.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Tara Fickenworth; one sister, Lisa Moyak of Erie; two brothers, Bill and Mike Moyak, both of Erie; his stepchildren, Taylor Hall and Brandon Lee Hall, both of Erie; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends including Sean Sweitzer.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
