Obituary for Steven M. Heilman
Steven M. Heilman, age 29, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Erie, on September 15, 1987, the son of Michael Heilman and Cheryl Crosby Heilman.
Steven graduated from the Perseus House Charter School of Excellence in 2006. He was employed by Glenwood Beer Distributor Inc. for several years. Steven was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his son and daughter, Mason and Ava. Steven enjoyed working out and spending time with his friends and family. He was an active member of NA meetings.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Ava Heilman; his son, Mason Heilman; his sister, Christine Bible (Adam); his half-brother, Michael Heilman (Sandra); his maternal grandparents, Charles and Faith Crosby; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Nancy Heilman; a niece and a nephew; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Vincent Hospital – ICU for their love and care they gave Steven.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of funeral service there at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
